Echo is in foal to Sir Donnerhall for 2019

Absolutely stunning black 16.3 5 year old mare by Blue Hors Hotline (Hofrat x Gribaldi) out of our foundation mare Latona (Laudabilis x Lauries Crusador). “Echo” is a striking, compact powerhouse with a huge walk and a very expressive trot and canter with excellent use of her hind leg. She is short coupled with a strong back and excellent limbs and like her dam has a very well set on neck, being naturally uphill and easily in self carriage. She commands your attention and has a very bold outlook on life showing great confidence from the minute she was born. She has inherited a good front from her dam and looks to have a huge engine too. She will no doubt make a future top class contender in the dressage arena.

Hotline was the breath-taking champion of the approvals in Verden and is impressing the experts at his first public appearances under saddle, celebrating his amazing gaits and seldom experienced rideability. As the undisputed champion at his 70 day test, which he finished with 149,28 points, he was not only awarded highest marks for his temperament but the test riders also confirmed his excellent rideability with the perfect score of 10.0. His sire Hofrat was Reserve Champion at the Trakehner Approvals in Neumunster 2000 and has since then been successful at Intermediate I. His progeny is excelling in their respective age-groups, which puts Hofrat high up on the list of the German breeding evaluations with an above average score of 157 points. His grand sire Gribaldi, ridden by Edward Gal, is one of the best stallions in Holland. He produced Painted Black ridden by Anky van Grunsven – her top youngster for the international championships. The dam’s sire De Niro offers an equally high-profile breeding record: champions, expensive auction lots and approved stallions. He has top-class blood lines including the Grand Prix horses Wendepunkt and the thoroughbred Busoni xx sire of the dressage legend Gigolo. Hotline’s exceptional dam line produced the licensed stallion Alabaster sire of Isabell Werth’s Grand Prix winner Apache and Atachi W/Nadine and Jorgen Wirths. Hotline’s first foals have fulfilled all expectations: long-legged and elegant with the same dancing movement and potential as their father.
