We had a terrific day at Hunters EC with Armada Floriana taking both prelims, topping one class with 78%! This mare, our first homebred by Floriscount out of our foundation mare, Latona (Laudabilis x Lauries Crusador) is so special to all of us and we know this is just the beginning of what promises to be a great future. Ridden with style by Abbie Newbury who is currently producing her for us, we are so excited to see what they can achieve this year.
Armada Donna Bella scored 66% and 67% in her first two affiliated novices but was very distracted today and didn’t show herself off as well as we know she can. Despite this I was so pleased with her as she is getting much stronger and better able to cope with the work.
